Getting Started & Setup

Use Getting Started & Setup when you are preparing a new store or turning on the first Storepass workflows for your team.

Start with the setup checklist, then move through product creation, pricing, buylist, Point of Sale, and account access based on the features your store plans to use.

• Confirm the store connection and staff access.
• Review product creation settings before creating products.
• Review pricing rules before relying on automated prices.
• Configure buylist, POS, and storefront features only when your store is ready to use them.

Before starting

1. Confirm you can sign in to Storepass and open the store dashboard.
2. Confirm the store has been connected to Shopify or the ecommerce system your store uses.
3. Add staff who need setup access from Account > Staff.
4. Decide which product lines, sales channels, and workflows should be configured first.

Use

1. Open Setup Checklist.
2. Complete the connection and account setup items first.
3. Review Product & Catalog Management before creating or standardizing products.
4. Review Retail Price Management before turning on price automation.
5. Review Buylist and Point of Sale if those workflows are part of your launch.

Review

After setup, spot-check a few products, prices, staff permissions, and customer-facing pages before sending customers or staff into the live workflow.
