Feature Request Handling

Created: 10/14/2024 | Last updated: 6/11/2026 | Tags: support, feature requests, code-backed-rewrite

Use a feature request when Storepass does not currently support a workflow your store needs or when an existing workflow could be improved.

The most useful requests explain the business problem, the current workaround, and the result your store is trying to achieve.

  • Request a new feature or improvement.
  • Explain the use case, not only the button or field you want added.
  • Include examples from your store when they help clarify the workflow.

Before starting

  1. Search documentation and existing tickets to confirm the feature does not already exist.
  2. Write down the store workflow you are trying to improve.
  3. Gather links, screenshots, report examples, or product examples that show the need.

Create the request

  1. Go to Support Tickets.
  2. Click Add New.
  3. Set Type to Feature Request.
  4. Describe the problem, who is affected, and what a successful outcome would look like.
  5. Add an example link or attachment when possible.
  6. Submit the ticket.

Review

Small requests may be scheduled with normal support work. Larger requests may be discussed, split into smaller pieces, or moved to backlog until Storepass is ready to prioritize them.

A feature request is easier to evaluate when it explains the workflow and customer impact, not just the requested UI change.
