How Storepass Handles Bugs

Created: 10/14/2024 | Last updated: 6/11/2026 | Tags: support, bugs, tickets, code-backed-rewrite

Use a bug ticket when Storepass is not behaving the way it should, a workflow is blocked, or your store needs Storepass to investigate an unexpected result.

Bug work is tracked through support tickets so the issue has a severity, type, status, comments, attachments, and a full update history.

  • Report bugs from Support Tickets.
  • Use severity to describe business impact.
  • Include steps to reproduce the issue whenever possible.
  • Use comments to answer follow-up questions or close the ticket when it is resolved.

Before starting

  1. Confirm the issue is still happening after refreshing Storepass.
  2. Collect the exact page, product, customer, order, buylist submission, or setting involved.
  3. Write the steps that led to the issue.
  4. Capture screenshots or files if they will help Storepass reproduce the issue.

Create a bug ticket

  1. Go to Support Tickets.
  2. Click Add New.
  3. Set Type to Bug.
  4. Choose the severity that best matches the business impact.
  5. Describe what happened, what you expected to happen, and the steps to reproduce it.
  6. Add an Example Link and any attachments that help explain the issue.
  7. Submit the ticket.

Severity

  • 1 - Critical: A system-down or major malfunction that needs immediate attention.
  • 2 - High: A significant business issue where a workaround may exist.
  • 3 - Medium: A moderate issue that affects work but is not immediately critical.
  • 4 - Low: A minor issue with limited business impact.
  • 5 - Very Low: Cosmetic issues or small enhancements.

Review

After a ticket is created, watch the ticket status and latest comment. Storepass may move the ticket through Open, Under Review, Planned, In Progress, Waiting On Customer, Backlog, or Closed depending on the issue and the next step.

If Storepass asks for more information, reply in the ticket with the requested details so the issue can keep moving.
