Is Storepass better than SortSwift for every card shop?+
No. SortSwift has a strong scanning and sorting proposition, a free entry tier, built-in shipping, and broad channel sync. Storepass is the stronger choice when storefront conversion, connected buylist and pricing logic, Shopify or BigCommerce flexibility, and enterprise retail workflows matter more than scanner-first intake.
Does Storepass charge a percentage of sales?+
Storepass's $99 Scaling plan includes a 2% fee on connected-product sales. Starter and higher plans use flat monthly pricing with no Storepass sales commission. Marketplace and payment-provider fees still apply independently.
Can Storepass work with card sorting hardware?+
Storepass supports catalog import workflows on eligible tiers. SortSwift offers its own scanning system and optional Super Sorter hardware, which may be the more direct fit for a sorting-machine-led intake operation.
How should we test inventory sync before switching?+
Use a copy of your real catalog and test simultaneous online and in-store sales, cancellations, refunds, partial fulfillment, price updates, marketplace delays, and recovery after a failed job. Ask who owns reconciliation and what support path applies during a live incident.
